The EIP-AGRI seminar, organized by the European Commission, will take place on 22-23 June 2016 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The seminar is aimed at farmers, foresters, consultants, researchers, and business leaders from the European Union.
Participation in the event requires an invitation from the organizers.
Applications for participation in the seminar will be open from Tuesday, March 15th to Tuesday, March 22nd.
The specific objectives of the seminar are:
- Identify and analyze business models based on actual and potential data in the agricultural sector, including the entire supply chain.
- Identify the conditions conducive to these business models.
- Development of new business models based on real data.
- Share experiences and ideas of participants
The participants' experiences will be a fundamental part of the seminar. Therefore, applicants to participate in the seminar should share their experience or idea for a data-driven business model in the agri-food sector. These can be applied experiences or just a concept.
Selected participants will be notified in mid-April. Travel and accommodation expenses for participants may be covered by the European Commission.
