The public consultation period for the EU Framework Programme for research and innovation, Horizon 2020, is now open. Any EU citizen is invited to participate in this consultation to improve the implementation of the programme, and in particular, all research and innovation organisations participating in Horizon 2020.

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on Horizon 2020, as part of the mid-term evaluation it is conducting with the assistance of independent experts. This review aims to improve the functioning of this Framework Programme and lay the groundwork for the next one. The consultation will be open until 15 January 2017.
The questionnaire is available in English at the following link , although responses can be submitted in any official language of the European Union.
The EU has allocated a budget of nearly €77 billion to the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for research and innovation for the period 2014 to 2020. The regulations governing this programme require the European Commission to conduct a mid-term review of its implementation by December 31, 2017.
