The National Rural Network's Action Plan for 2016, at the request of the national rural women's organization, the Ceres Confederation, includes several workshops dedicated to analyzing relevant issues related to entrepreneurship and women's empowerment in rural areas.

The objective of the proposal is to launch specific training forums for representatives of rural women's organizations, demonstrating avenues for entrepreneurship in rural areas and increasing women's participation in the decision-making bodies of organizations dedicated to rural development and agri-food cooperatives.
