Objectives of the day

• Strengthen cooperation between Local Action Groups (LAGs) at the national and European levels.
• Facilitate the exchange of experiences, good practices and knowledge in the area of LEADER local development.
• Promote the search for partners and the start of new interterritorial and transnational cooperation projects in the period 2023–2027.
• To publicize the tools and actions that the EU CAP Network is developing to promote collaboration between European LAGs.
• Present inspiring examples of LEADER cooperation projects at different scales: intraregional, interregional and European.

Mode

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format :

• In person: La Farm Studio , La Granja de San Ildefonso (Segovia).
• Online: via streaming throughout the day.

Organizes

The event is organized by the CAP Network , belonging to the General Sub-Directorate of Agricultural Policy Planning of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) .

Target audience

This meeting is aimed at:

• Presidents, technical staff, board members or assembly members of the GAL.
• LEADER cooperation technicians and managers.
• Regional and National Networks of Local Action Groups.
• LEADER Management Authorities and Regional Managers.
• Representatives of GAL from other Member States.
• Staff from the EU CAP Network and other entities linked to rural development.
