Schedule: Day 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Day 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Within the framework of the National Rural Network's activities, a conference on Sustainable Tourism and Rural Development in Biosphere Reserves was held.

The following aspects were addressed during the day:

• Commitment to a sustainable tourism model for rural development;
• Keys to rural tourism with a gender perspective;
• Opportunities and challenges of tourism activities in Protected Natural Areas;
• Sustainable tourism projects in protected natural areas. Lessons and lessons learned from entrepreneurs' experiences.

The RRN Management Unit organized and coordinated the logistics for attendees, covering travel and accommodation costs. The National Rural Network covered the cost of one night's accommodation. Given the limited budget, requests were processed on a first-come, first-served basis, prioritizing one person per organization and the interest in attending the event to achieve the objectives until the budget was finalized.
