Within the MAPA, several projects related to digitalization and the use of information networks in the agricultural sector are being developed. These information networks are used both in the design of direct CAP aid and in monitoring the situation of the sectors, as well as to analyze the use and advantages of using new technologies and for the exchange of information.

The objectives of this day are:

• To present the information network systems developed by the MAPA, including their origins, recent developments, and their importance for the agricultural sector and the administration itself.

• To publicize various national and international initiatives related to the use of data, as well as the support provided by the administration to promote the digitalization of the agricultural sector.

In addition, there will be an exchange of experiences between farmers and ranchers who use them.

The target audience for the event is ranchers, farmers, representatives of agricultural organizations, administrations, and any entity interested in the topic of this event.

The event will take place on September 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in a mixed format:

• In person at the auditorium of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries (Paseo de Infanta Isabel, 1, Madrid). Maximum capacity is 88 people .

• Online : via streaming during the day.
