General Subdirectorate of Farm Modernization

Goals:

  • To complete the training of trainers and technicians in their work supporting farmers and ranchers to meet the diversification and innovation requirements in rural areas required by EU and Spanish regulations.
  • Provide methodological training to participants to increase their effectiveness as advisors in the field of rural development.
  • Provide information on the LEADER methodology and new approaches to Rural Development in Spain and the European Union: Policies, instruments, and intervention methodology.

Addressed to:

Trainers and technicians from various administrations, Rural Development Networks and Groups, Professional Agricultural Organizations, Cooperatives and Associations in rural areas, workers in the field of advising agricultural farms and rural business owners and/or entrepreneurs, and Local Development Agents.
