“PAC AND SHARED OWNERSHIP”

AMFAR.- The Federation of Women and Families in Rural Areas, with funding from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , is developing the RURAL WOMEN Program, protagonists of Rural Development, which is part of the line of subsidies to rural women's entities at the national level called by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for the 2025-2026 period, approved by Royal Decree 921/2024, of September 17.

This program aims to promote training activities that strengthen women's leadership in rural areas, encouraging their active participation in the economic and social development of their territories, as well as improving their working and living conditions.

Within the framework of this program, AMFAR is organizing the event: “CAP AND SHARED OWNERSHIP” which will take place next Saturday, April 4, 2026 at El Corralon de Altarejos Rural House in Altarejos, Cuenca

At this event, AMFAR advocates for women to be at the heart of rural development policies, as well as raising awareness of the support available to women when entering the rural labor market, through an examination of the measures included in the CAP for rural development.

As well as the benefits of women's incorporation into the agricultural sector.- Shared ownership

Rural women are an essential pillar in shaping the territory and combating depopulation. Their entrepreneurial spirit, capacity for innovation, and commitment to their environment are fundamental to ensuring a dynamic, competitive, and sustainable rural landscape.
